Indore’s Eminent Homoeopathy Expert Nominated to the Scientific Advisory Committee of NEIAH, Shillong

Indore: In a moment of immense pride for Indore and the entire AYUSH fraternity of Madhya Pradesh, the city’s renowned senior homoeopathic physician, Dr A.K. Dwivedi, has been conferred with a highly significant national-level responsibility. The Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has nominated Dr. Dwivedi as a Member (Homoeopathy Expert) in the Scientific Advisory Committee of the North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong, Meghalaya—one of the most reputed and strategically important AYUSH institutions in the country.
According to the official communication issued by the institute dated 23rd January 2026, Dr. Dwivedi’s nomination has been made in compliance with the directives of the Ministry of AYUSH. He has been appointed for a tenure of three years, during which he will provide expert guidance and strategic inputs to strengthen academic excellence, research priorities, and institutional development.
NEIAH: A Unique and Premier Institution of National Importance
It is noteworthy that NEIAH is the only autonomous AYUSH institute in North Eastern India under the Government of India, offering a distinctive ecosystem where Ayurveda and Homoeopathy function together within the same campus. The institute is known for its integrated approach in delivering quality education, advanced research initiatives, and structured clinical services, making it a landmark centre for AYUSH development in the North East region.

Anaemia Awareness Campaign to Continue This Year as Well
Dr. Dwivedi announced that in Indore, this year’s Anaemia Awareness Campaign will be conducted from 22nd February (Sunday) to 1st March (Sunday), with strong support from the Sansad Seva Prakalp as a key collaborator. This public welfare campaign is organised annually under the patronage of AYUSH Medical Welfare Foundation, Advanced Homoeopathy Society, and Sehat & Soorat, wherein trained teams conduct extensive door-to-door outreach. Citizens are educated about symptoms, prevention strategies, and nutrition-based lifestyle interventions to improve haemoglobin levels and promote healthy blood formation through practical and sustainable habits. With Dr. A.K. Dwivedi’s inclusion in the Scientific Advisory Committee of NEIAH, Indore has once again emerged as a city contributing nationally to the advancement of AYUSH and homoeopathy, marking yet another inspiring chapter in the journey of public health service and scientific commitment.
